Mr. Grey Collar
This is Chase, our former gray collar boy! His story is very special, as Chase's boy has already endured some really big health challenges. He had Craniosynostosis, which is where the plates in a baby's skull fuse together too early, preventing the brain from growing properly. This requires major surgery. He was also recently diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. So Chase has an extra special job - being there for his buddy. Mom says that: "Chase is doing so great!! He's adapted so well! I have to say the best puppy I've had! He is so smart and friendly. When he has to go potty, he goes right to the door. He loves everyone he meets...His doctor thinks Chase will be a great asset my son's hurting. So happy to have Chase with us to celebrate the last day of Pre-K!! He loves being outside and playing fetch and is so cuddly! My son loves him - they are best buddies! I swear Chase senses when he is in a lot of pain, he will go lay right next to him! I'm so glad that we found you and for you sharing your pup with us." I truly can't put into words how much this update means to me. To know that one of our puppies is helping this little boy in such a manner brings me to tears. I'm praying for you, little man! |

Miss Red Collar
Our Red Collar female found a home in the Rhinebeck, NY area. Mom says: "Peppa has been an amazing addition to our family. She LOVES people, especially children. She is bonding with our 4 yr. old daughter, Abigail. Where ever Abigail is in our house, I know Peppa is there too! Abigail takes pride in feeding her, giving her water and taking walks with her. Peppa is stunning and her fur is just so soft, everyone loves her where ever we go! We have started "Puppy Kindergarten" with a great trainer! She can sit, come and knows her name already! As a Reading Specialist, I would love to one day get Peppa certified as a Reading Therapy dog for our elementary school. Peppa is SO smart, she has learned very quickly to ring a bell by the door to go outside! Once we committed to crate training , housebreaking became SO much easier! We are introducing her to the pool and swimming has been good exercise to get her puppy energy out! Thank you for giving our family the opportunity to bond with our future puppy, through videos and pictures since the puppies were born. I'm so grateful we found Morning Glory Labradors because our daughter finally found her, "furry, little sister!" We are so excited that little Peppa may have the opportunity to become a therapy dog and are very thankful that she is bonding so closely with Abigail, who is proving to be a good pack leader at puppy training classes (left). |

Mr. Black Collar
Norman, our Black Collar boy, is now out in the Rochester, NY area. The plan is for Norman to accompany his reading specialist mom into a school setting in the future! I'm told that he's adjusted well and that he loves being outside and would probably sit on the front porch looking around all day if he could. Being a Lab, he loves all the wonderful things outside he can chew on as well like grass, dirt, and mulch! Mom also says: "He also loves the water! He has a kiddie pool he loves to play in, he will sit on the dock at our cottage and loves boat rides! Training has been great. He knows here, sit, down and will give you his paw. We are just working on his biting and want to get him in a puppy class so he can socialize more with other dogs. We are very happy and love our new edition!" As can be seen from the photos, he's enjoying life with a wonderful family. Looks like he's eager to get the command to devour that piece of watermelon! We look forward to future updates and hope the therapy plans work out well! |

Mr. Blue Collar
Kenobi is in the Gansevoort area and has taken very well to his new pack, including big sister, Ahsoka. Initial news from home was that both dogs were "getting along great and feeling each other out with how rough they can be together. He's so stinking cute!" A few weeks later I heard: "He's so well behaved. He's just awesome. Brought him to work today and he did great. Met a bunch of new people, just laid down in the office and relaxed. No accidents. I have him laying down and am able to put a piece of hot dog right in front of him and tell him 'leave it' and he won't touch it until I say 'ok'." He also got to go with mom to pick up his boy at summer camp and was a huge hit there! And he's doing fabulous at doggie daycare, where he became immediate best friends with a little boxer pup named Lincoln. |

Mr. Green Collar
Parker (Green Collar Boy) lives close by in the Mechanicville area. We received an early update from Mom when he was just over 9 weeks old: "We enjoy him so much. He's a very smart little guy. He's already learned to come and sit, except with the "come" part he sometimes has "selective hearing" so we work on that every day. He's just started to take short walks up and down our street and enjoys being outside. The potty training is going well... He sleeps all night...Needless to say we were so lucky to be able to adopt him. Now at 13 weeks old, he's still doing great. Parker is now 25 pounds - vet says he's growing beautifully. He's been sleeping all night in his crate since his second night and never minds when we put him in. He's also been really good about letting us know when he needs to go out, and over the last couple days he has actually started barking at the door. We just love him!! We're planning on starting puppy school soon, although he already knows sit, down, shake, spin, come, and is starting to understand stay already! You did a good job picking him out for us." As you can see from the photos, Parker has a favorite chair... UPDATE: |

Miss Yellow Collar
Miss Yellow (aka Bella) was our last puppy to go home on 'homecoming' weekend. Mom had come to see her at the puppy visit, then Dad and one of their sons made the trek from Voorheesville area to bring her home. Word is: "She's adorable! She is doing great. House breaking is coming along nicely. She is a fabulous fetcher of tennis balls. She even brings it back and drops it. This pleases me and the boys endlessly! She sits and comes when called. She is used to the crate now. She's a little shy of other dogs (puppy play group on the horizon) and "she adores people!!" This is excellent news, as Mom is a social worker and hopes to take Bella into local schools as a therapy dog. While she was still at our house, we made Bella an honorary member of our lawn care crew. |

Miss Purple Collar
Mom pulled off a surprise and picked up Miss Purple several days before Dad was expecting to welcome her home! It was fun being in on this surprise! Here's Maddie, ready to go home, and then settling in at her new place in Dutchess County. Here are some updates from Maddie's family: "Today she went to the gym with me and was chill for the whole hour with lots of loud noises, banging and people, and she wasn't frightened a bit. When I let her off leash after the class, she ran the gym meeting everyone. She was awesome! Sooo much goodness!" "Look how calm she is with the cats...really her temperament is just blissful!!" After a while, Maddie reached her comfort level and was getting a little aggressive in play, but it only took 2 days to break that behavior, and she was patiently sitting and waiting to be petted. "She really is so smart! We love her to death!" We look forward to many more updates, photos, and videos of Maddie Cakes!! |

Late summer 2017 litter - puppies and their new families!
Late summer 2017 litter - puppies and their new families!
Miss Light Blue Collar
This was the final puppy to go home from the last litter - and how blessed we are to have been a part of this! I was contacted by a young man who was not only in search of a puppy, but who also wanted to use that puppy (Light Blue Collar Girl, aka Bella) to deliver his marriage proposal to a lovely young woman. They closed on a home in the Hartford, CT area one morning in late October. Thanks to the bride's sister, when they arrived at their new place, Bella was waiting and ready to help pop the question! As the photos I was sent show, her answer was a resounding "YES"!! They tell me Bella is so much fun, sleeps well, and loves her crate. Best wishes to this great couple as they plan the rest of their lives together...with each other and with little Bella! |
Miss Yellow Collar
Our Yellow Collar Girl - Dixie - lives about 4 hours away near the Jersey shore with this wonderful family! Dixie and her buddy, Dakota, are reported to be doing great. Feedback so far has been excellent: "The adjustment has been totally smooth... they are solid sleepers. Totally healthy check up at our vet. We get tons of compliments on how she looks. She's a fast learner." I've received quite a few photos of Dixie (and Dakota) and can see here that she's learning the 'place' command well! Taking on two puppies at one time is not just a LOT of work, but there are other considerations as well. It's not what I would typically recommend. However, this family is experienced, physically very active, has the time to devote to training, and is definitely up to the challenge! |
Mr. Black Collar
Duke is settled in with this great family near Deerfield, MA in late Oct. Mom and Dad planned his arrival as a big surprise for their 3 kids! They had lost both of their 13 year old Labs this summer, and their excitement at finding Duke and planning his homecoming was so fun to experience! Mom has sent several videos, photos, and updates: "The kids are still in shock...(Duke) seems to be adjusted easier than expected. Seems very comfortable in the house and with us." Then, a few weeks later: "Duke is doing awesome! ... sleeps all night even goes in his crate when he needs time away from craziness. Sits, shakes, lays down, comes." Sure sounds like it's going well so far! |
Mr. Green Collar Little Remi went went to his new home with a wonderful family in the Voorheesville area. Great feedback: "He is awesome..... He is such a lover! Lots of kisses and great temperament around daily living/sounds/people. He is doing so good. Everyone is so surprised😊😊😊😊 Didn't mind the mower at all.... (Our son) is doing great, loves him. We all do. He is a perfect fit for our family. He is a quick learner." Love the photo of Remi and his boy! |
Mr. Blue Collar
Our Blue Collar Boy got to meet his new family when they came to visit. Later, Dad came to take Winston to his new home in the Stillwater area. He says that he's doing very well - all puppy and into everything and chewing everything. Keep those puppy chew toys handy!! Winston's vet visit went great, and he already weighs 23 lbs! Must be nice not having to share the food dishes with all those siblings, but don't grow too quickly, Winston! |
Miss Red Collar
Our Miss Red Collar is now in her forever home with this great family in the Poughkeepsie area. Her new name is Belle, and I'm told that: "She is just wonderful. She's settling in just fine. The girls are in love!!! She's already going into her crate to take naps and to relax...I'd say it's going really well." So thankful for the good report! |
Miss Pink Collar
This young lady came with her sister came to pick up her new family member, Miss Pink Collar. This is the first time she's had a puppy, and while I did give her basic info and her sister has some experience with dogs, she's really done her research, and things are going wonderfully! Feedback is: "Zoey is doing great! She's sleeping through the night...She's the sweetest!...So easy...knows her name and comes when called from another room." I am so proud of the effort Zoey's new owner is putting into this new adventure! |
Sweet little red collar girl has found a home with a lovely family in the Poughkeepsie, NY area!!
Our lovable tan collar boy is now in his new home with a family in the W. Sand Lake area!
Our beautiful light blue collar girl had a very special introduction to her new family near Harford, CT!
Two's company, and three's a fuzzy, furry, fun-filled crowd!!
Green collar boy says "Hanging out...is always better with a best bud!"
What? You want me to look over at your mom so she can take another picture of us? When will we be done??
