Morning Glory's Maple Moon - "Maple"

Maple was the only female among 6 brothers in mama Cammi's litter, and she sports a very deep red coat. She is the darkest shade of yellow Lab, and her coat, which resembles a dark maple syrup color, is stunning in the sunlight.
Maple Moon was conceived in February and born in April, which is maple sugaring season around here. One of the names for the March full moon is the "Sap Moon", indicating the month when maple trees can usually be tapped for their sap, which is then turned into delicious maple products. Because of this, and in light of the fact that her human dad is a maple producer, the name seemed absolutely perfect!
